Up for sale is a wholesale sterling silver and peridot thistle kilt pin. I used to sell these on my website but with my new job, am selling off all my wholesale items in bulk – my need to stop selling can be your gain! Included with the pin is the option to use my previous description and pictures. What better way to accent your traditional Scottish kilt or cape than with this striking sterling and peridot pin. It’s surface is accented with a traditional thistle bloom pattern and Celtic type braid or knot work. Legend holds that the thistle became the symbol of the Scots when a horde of Vikings attempted to sneak ashore at night, but stumbled into a patch of thistle. Their subsequent cries of pain alerted the brave Scots and exposed the intended ambush. It would look equally stunning on a lapel or sweater. The top is accented by a sparkling apple green bezel set 5 mm peridot. This great piece measures 3/4″ x 3″ and is marked 925 for 925/1000 pure sterling. It is new and in mint condition.
